Tips for Tots: Supporting Young Children

The Early Childhood Consultation Partnership (ECCP®) has developed several series of one-page resources called Tips for Tots.

The Supporting Young Children series focuses on individual children and addresses common issues that a young child between the ages of birth and five may experience. Each tip sheet describes education around developmental norms and recommended techniques to soothe and provide social-emotional well-being to infants/toddlers and preschool age children. A variety of practical strategies and additional resources for working with both age groups is also provided. These strategies can be utilized by any caregiver that is entrusted to caring for a young child.
